[ This is the part where Merle scrambles over to Archie, grabs his face with both hands, turning his head this way and that to examine him from different angles, running his fingers appraisingly through Archie's beard.

Finally, seeming satisfied, he lets go. ]

Any beard is long enough if you try hard!

[he doesn't bother to try and fight this, just lets merle move him around like a doll. archie does puff his cheeks up lightly, though.]

D...Is that just a nice way of sayin' mine isn't long enough???

[he whines, like a kid whining about a parent embarrassing them. he slaps at merle's cheeks lightly, trying to push him off.]
